Warranty Period and Parts Coverage

(a) Warranty coverage commences on the date of purchase. The specific warranty period depends on the product category:

  • Welding and Cutting Equipment: 3-Year Warranty.
  • Welding Helmets: 2-Year Warranty.

(b) Replacement parts supplied under warranty are covered for the unexpired balance of the original warranty period applicable to the product.

Warranty Eligibility

  1. The warranty is linked to the product's serial number and cannot be transferred upon change of ownership.
  2. Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt, clearly stating purchase date and product details) is required for all claims.
  3. Product registration within 30 days of purchase is encouraged but not mandatory. Failure to register does not affect rights.
  4. Registration implies consent to receive promotional communications from JASIC, which can be discontinued at any time.

Warranty Process

1.  Warranty claims may be lodged through the original platform of purchase or directly via the JASIC Support Team at support@jasic.us. To expedite your claim, please provide the following: 

  • Order Number: Required for all online purchases. 
  • Point of Purchase: The website link or authorized dealer's address.
  • Issue Description: A brief explanation of the equipment's malfunction or performance issue.
  • Visual Evidence: Photos or a short video of the fault to assist our technicians with a faster diagnosis.

2.  Once your email is received, our technical team will review the information and guide you through the initial troubleshooting.Upon confirmation of eligibility, JASIC will arrange for the equipment to be inspected at an Authorized Service Facility.

3.  If a warrantable defect is confirmed, JASIC will, at its discretion:

(a) Repair the product using genuine JASIC parts; or

(b) Replace the product with an equivalent model.

4.  For approved claims, JASIC will cover standard delivery costs or reimburse reasonable shipping expenses incurred by the customer. 

5.  If the issue is not covered by warranty, the customer will be notified promptly. In such cases, the product will be returned at the customer’s expense, though JASIC may provide a quote for out-of-warranty repair services.

Limitations and Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, or the replacement of consumable parts and components.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, improper maintenance, unauthorised modifications, or environmental exposure (including contaminants, rust, vermin, excessive heat, power surges, or improper voltage).
  • Damage caused by operator error, mishandling, improper storage or transport, or use outside JASIC’s specifications or intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by weld spatter due to improper use or maintenance.
  • Products not purchased from authorised dealers.
  • Products purchased or used for commercial hire.
  • Products with altered or removed serial numbers, or incomplete/false claim information.
  • Repairs conducted by non-authorised service providers, or repairs not in accordance with JASIC’s specifications.

Important Note on Unauthorized Sellers

Because we cannot guarantee the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, JASIC reserves the right to reject warranty claims for equipment purchased from unauthorized sources, including unauthorized websites or third-party marketplaces.
